Our Story

Life Changing Center is a non-profit, non-partisan tax exempt organization located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.    After noticing the number of  individuals living in the woods,  in tents, under bridges, on sidewalks and searching for food, clothing, shelter and jobs, our organization was created to address, prevent and break the cycle of homelessness. Life Changing Center began to address homelessness in Hattiesburg by providing food and in emergency situations, provided shelter to individuals and families.  As we continued to come in contact with more homeless individuals and families, we found that many lacked job skills and began providing job skills training.  We are dedicated to empowering homeless individuals and families with information and tools needed to become self-sufficient.
